The Kuortane Sports Resort is best known as both the Finnish National and International High Performance Training Center with outstanding training facilities for athletic development. The Center offers numerous fitness and training services for athletes of all levels as well as for the everyday public who want to keep in shape. The Center boasts one of the country’s best fitness testing labs and this compliments the well-experienced coaching/ training staff very well. You can be tested with a variety of muscle and/or endurance tests to ensure you get on the right fitness/ wellness path according to your own goals. Apart from the High Performance Training Center and Kuortane Hotel, the Kuortane Education Center offers different study programs for sports-oriented students, for example: Vocational Qualification in Physical Education (3 years), Further Qualification for Masseurs/Masseuses (9 months) and Further Qualification in Sports Facilities Maintenance (10 months). Short-term studies, such as Basic Studies in Sports Instruction (4 months) are also available. Our study programs teach in Finnish. However, an International Student Exchange Program is available through our study program system. In recent news, September of 2007 will see the recently constructed Kuortane Sports Hotel join the International RCI Timeshare System. The Hotel’s beautiful Kuortane lake shore location and endless range of both indoor and outdoor activities guarantee you and your family a wonderful holiday. The Kuortane Sports Resort prides itself on offering a number of different wellness, accommodation, conference and catering services in addition to the many free time activities and outstanding sport services.
