We offer ten high-class, pleasant holiday homes: five completely renovated Lakeside Cabins (built in 1977, renovated in 2000) and five new high-class Lakeside Villas, built in 2004. Our main clientele consists of families, couples and small groups from Finland and abroad. The lakeside villas house tourists around the year. They are located approximately 2 km away from the main farm of Loikansaari, at the eastern end of the island in the peaceful Hoviniemi cape. The villas have been built of rugged dressed logs and they represent Finnish log building tradition at its best. The lakeside cottages house tourists from spring to late autumn. They are located 1 km away from the main farm of Loikansaari, in the naturally beautiful Hirviniemi cape. The cottages are traditional Finnish “red cottages” with cut timber revetments, each having their own farmhouse tables and brick fireplaces. The ground plans and interior designs of the lakeside cottages are of a high quality and function well. |
